Discovering the Opportunity
In 2022, while working for a company that implemented Zoho to manage operations, I was asked to maintain a manual spreadsheet to track the status of different parts of the business. I quickly recognized that this information already existed within Zoho and that the spreadsheet was an unnecessary and inefficient step. Rather than continuing a redundant process, I decided to learn how to configure the platform properly and solve the problem through automation.
Skill Development
Throughout 2023, I invested significant time learning the Zoho platform, including CRM customization, automation, reporting, and integrations. As my skills advanced, I began taking on small client projects on the side, helping businesses solve operational challenges. These projects provided hands-on experience and reinforced my ability to design practical solutions across a variety of business models.
Founding MACSolutions
By 2024, the demand for my work had grown enough that I was able to leave my full-time role and officially establish MACSolutions. This transition confirmed that I had found my calling, combining my business mindset, creativity, and problem-solving skills into a company focused on delivering meaningful operational improvements for clients.
